The Edinburg Volunteer Fire Department has begun testing the Tone-to-Text application as a means of providing an additional form of dispatch for their department.

Broadening Dispatch Capabilities

A lieutenant from the Edinburg Volunteer Fire Department was tasked with researching additional forms of dispatch technology for their department. The lieutenant recently learned of the Tone-to-Text application and has begun trialing the system at their station. So far the feedback has been very positive as he feels that the software “looks very easy to use.”
